Announcements
Mary Sue is off enjoying a week of live theatre in Canada, so Melinda Gruber is  presiding at the meeting today.
We have received a $500 donation from Art Bolt’s brother Bob Vitter in his memory and as a recognition of how much Bob was committed to the Club.
Aug. 14th pancake breakfast was a huge success, thanks to everyone’s efforts. Dave Campbell reports our final numbers Both Breakfasts we made $22,300 Net Profit!! We served 1500 people August 12th.  We also had an anonymous donation of $3000,00.   Particular kudo’s to Don Hodgman and his core team who made sure everything was ready and running smoothly
Jerry Gruber reports that the Thank You Jars contained an additional $580.00!!  Way to go South Haven Rotarians!!
The District Foundation raffle tickets have all been sold, thank you Rotarians for your continued support of this fundraiser.  This raffle supports the Karl Sandelin Grants, of which we have been a recipient every year for the past several years.
Aug. 23rd picnic at Jerry Gruber’s cottage was a lovely event with picture perfect weather.  Thank you Jerry and Emily Gruber….and many other Grubers, for planning this lovely event. 
We have received a thank you note from the Hope College-Western MI Prison Project for our grant.
Next week’s meeting will be held at Hidden Ponds RV Resort on 12th Avenue just beyond Maple Grove School.  The address is 73030 12th Avenue, South Haven, Michigan.  Steve Larsen is program chair and will be hosting coffee & pastries as well as providing a tour of the resort.
Comedy Relief- Bob Copping is back and wants to know what is an IG??  It’s a Snow House with out a Loo!!!  😊

Jackie is the District Public Image Chair and Champion of Youth Services.
She works with the St. Joseph Public Schools to Develop a Youth Mentoring Program and an Interact Club.
