Announcements:
- I have a membership application from Mathias DeJongh.
- Our latest service project was last Sat. for the We Care Community Resource Center Island Sit fund raiser. Thanks to the seven members who volunteered for the 2pm – 3pm slot and went the extra mile to cover the next hour because our relief crew didn’t show. The Island Sit raised almost $6,800 for the day with almost $800 of that in our 2-hour stretch. It was a fairly slow day in town.
- This Thursday and next Thursday are our dates to pack food bags for Blessings in a Backpack, please join us at 10:30am at North Shore School if your schedule allows.
- Next Wed., March 8th is our monthly social hour at 3 Blonds, come out and enjoy a casual evening of conversation.
- Club business cards are on the table by the door for your use as well as Club Directory updates for new members and corrections recently made by the Brinkman’s to all member listings.
- Please submit your suggestions for Club Hero to Dan Thompson by March 17th. Also be thinking of a candidate for Citizen of the Year which is an award that goes to a non-Rotarian who has made significant contributions to the community.
