Announcements:
 
  1.  Next Thurs., April 13th is our 1 turn this month for Blessings in a Backpack since this week is spring break.
  2. Next Wed., April 12th is our next Social Hour at 3 Blonds, starting at 5:30pm.
  3. We will be inducting Mathias DeJonghe and Ron Seiler into the Club this morning.
  4. This yearโ€™s District 6360 Conference is scheduled for May 5-7 at Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek. The Clubโ€™s board approved a sponsorship of the Conference at its last meeting in support of our soon to be Governor Elect Mark Odland.  I hope you will consider attending this event, it should be a rewarding experience.
  5. Our annual Scholarship Fundraiser dinner is scheduled for Sat. April 29th at Beeches Golf Club.  Deb Davidson and Scott Mark are organizing this event on our behalf.  I have invitations if you did not pick one up last week and I have a sign up sheet going around the room.  Please support this important Club fundraiser which funds our scholarship program for graduating seniors as well as supporting the South Haven Public Schools Foundation.
  6. The Club is again sponsoring a Car Show at the Senior Center, date will be May 17th.  Call on Dana Hullinger for details.
  7. Suggestions for candidates for Rotarian of the Year and Citizen of the Year are still being sought by Dan Thompson. 
  8. Ask for other announcements from the group.
  9. Mark Odland-District Governor recognized our club as being one of the best with Member Engagement.
  • The Head of the Rotary Diabetes Group International will be coming to the District Conference. He will also be biking  through South Haven on May 5th on the Kal Haven Trail.
  • Car Show in May at the Senior Center- Registration not needed. Gregories Grilled Grub Food Truck will be at the Car Show.Also the SH High School Robotics Team with the Robot will be there to demonstrate. All proceeds from the Car Show will go to the Robotics Team and Senior Services.
  • Dan Thompson-The Citizen of the Year and Rotarian of The Year will be selected at the next Board Meeting.

  • June 27th Induction Dinner at Hawkshead
  • April 28th -9:30 a.m. Tree Planting at Shout Park, 625 Dunkley Ave, South Haven- Kindergarten Students to help.
