2022 Fourth of July Parade

What a great Rotary weekend effort to pull off our first Pancake Breakfast in 3 years and to marshal the 4th Parade, all in one weekend. First and foremost a huge shout out to Don Hodgman for spearheading the breakfast with his major deputies Art Ayers, Tom Ruesink, Jerry Gruber, Mark Odland and Paul Hix. What a well oiled machine! Saturday set-up for the Breakfast saw a turnout of 22 Rotarians, spouses and family members, so this task went quickly and smoothly. Don counted 64 Rotarians and family members who worked the Breakfast event and the clean-up. It was inspiring to watch everyone come together. Treasurer Dave Campbell reports we served 1,000 people with gross proceeds are just a little over $12,500 with substantial tip money to be counted yet. And today, 24 Rotarians and family members helped marshal the 4th parade which featured our own Tom Renner and wife Carole as Grand Marshals, driven by Mark Odland and wife LaRae.
